My Story
I had been a dedicated nurse for over two decades, working tirelessly to care for my patients and help them recover from their illnesses. I was always passionate about my work, and I loved nothing more than seeing the smiles on my patients’ faces when they left the hospital feeling healthy and happy.
But then the pandemic hit, and everything changed. I found myself working longer hours and facing new challenges every day as I tried to keep up with the demands of my job. And then, to make matters worse, my workplace introduced new mandates that required all employees to get vaccinated.
I had always been hesitant about the new vaccines. I didn’t want to risk my health by getting the vaccine, but I also couldn’t afford to lose my job. In the end, I made the difficult decision not to comply with the mandates and get vaccinated, but it came at a cost. A few weeks later, I was called into my boss’s office and told that I was being let go due to my inability to meet the workplace mandates.
I was devastated. I had dedicated my life to helping others, and now I was out of a job because of something I couldn’t control. But I refused to let it get me down. Instead, I decided to use this setback as an opportunity to explore my passions and find a new way to help others.
New Beginning
I had always been interested in natural medicine, and I decided to dive headfirst into learning everything I could about it. I spent hours reading books and attending classes, soaking up as much knowledge as I could about herbal remedies, nutrition, and other natural healing methods.
And then, one day, I had a breakthrough. A friend of mine who had been suffering from chronic pain for years came to me for help. I used my newfound knowledge of natural medicine to create a custom treatment plan for my friend, combining Christian meditation, nutrition, herbal remedies, exercise plan and dietary changes. To my delight, my friend reported feeling better almost immediately, and the pain that had plagued her for years began to fade away.
Word of my success began to spread, and soon I found myself inundated with requests from friends, family, and even strangers who were seeking help with their own health problems. I had found a new calling and purpose, and I threw myself into it with all the passion and dedication that had made me such a great nurse.
Before long, I had built up a thriving a practice with combined nursing and natural medicine, helping people from all walks of life overcome their health challenges and find balance in their lives. And while I still missed my old job as a nurse, I knew that I had found a new path that was just as fulfilling, and just as important, as the one I had left behind.
